What can I expect when I visit?

A.

You can expect a warm welcome!  There is nothing that we enjoy more than praising our Lord and having others join us in doing so.  You will find a body of believers who are seeking to become like Christ.  You will find a number of members participating in leading our worship by leading singing, reading scripture, serving the Lord's Supper and leading in prayer.  You will hear an encouraging message from the Bible.

About how long are your services?

A.

The Sunday morning service and the Sunday evening service each last about one hour.  Sunday morning Bible classes last 45 minutes.  Wednesday evening Bible classes are 45 minutes long followed by a 10-15 minute devotional time in our fellowship hall.

Do I have to give if I visit the church?

A.

Giving is a joyful duty of each member of the church.  Visitors are not expected to give.

What should I wear?

A.

You are welcome to come as you are. You will see people in t-shirts and jeans and you will also see people in dresses and suits.

What denomination is the Flanders Road Church of Christ affiliated with?

We are not affiliated with any denomination.  We are striving to be the Body of Christ as set forth in the New Testament.
